Ascent Trip ReportInner Line Drive, in Valley Forge National Historical Park, crests about 1/10 mile from the summit of Mount Joy. The spur road shown on the topo climbing to the summit has reverted to a wide grassy path and is marked and blocked by a split-rail fence barrier. There is just enough room at the fence to pull off the road and park for the few minutes it takes to hike to the summit. The lookout tower was demolished in 1988, and all that remains at the summit is a large clearing.
