Ascent Trip ReportSo far this has been my favorite mountain in the Gorge. The hike up on the "more difficult" trail was somewhat physically challenging because there were a few steep parts. However, the steep areas were over basalt that formed good stair like footing, and I wasn't sore the next day. The peak has a really lovely view mostly to the north.
If you go up this mountain you will also see a really beautiful waterfall. I highly suggest taking the quick side trail up to the Pool of the Wind. It's totally worthwhile and fits its name.
