Ascent Trip ReportTallest mountain in New England.
Seven of us made the summit, with 2 being guides. Only 2 of the 7 hadn't climbed it before (another man and me). (That other gentleman had previously climbed Denali.) Highs were around 15 on the ascend. Winds were relatively constant at about 44 mph, with gusts at 50 mph. Visibility was about 100 feet on the summit. The descent was more windy and colder (-30 with the wind chill). On the early descent, visibility was down to 20 feet.
