Ascent Trip ReportLeft Campus shortly after 11 a.m., later than originally intended. “Uncle Pete” Coffin drove, scenery en route was beautiful. Attempted to skin up on split board, but failed and had to carry board to summit. Visibility on summit was superb, Pete and I began out descent through fresh powder. Very often trees were fairly dense, conditions were great for most of the ride. Had to unstrap and walk on flat parts. Joined up with ski trail towards bottom, very enjoyable as well as physically tiring day.
