Ascent Trip ReportAttempted 2-day climb in persistent rain from south (Capileira) but were blocked by path to Poqueira hut being washed away in several places and River running v strongly. Turned back at c 1,750m. Attempted climb next day from Granada side, climbing from Hoya de la Mora. Much better weather but heavy going in soft recent snow. Reached ridge below Veleta (c 2,950m) but insufficient time to continue to Mulhacen.
