Ascent Trip ReportFor the moment, this "peak" is accessible without blatant trespassing. Using the blown-up aerial photo, notice a two-track road heading west from US-9W. This road is easily spotted on the ground at (40.97615 X 73.91466). Park along the wide shoulder of 9W and walk west about 1/10 mile to higher ground, in a sort of no-man's-land between two typically huge Alpine houses. At the highpoint there has been forest clearing, and utilities are in place, so it appears this two-track road will soon become the driveway to another private home behind and between the two houses fronting on 9W. Anyone wanting to conquer Alpine Peak hassle-fee should do so now.
