Ascent Trip ReportGorgeous day - sunny, warm, no clouds.
Little snow at trailhead, but more and more as we climbed mountain. Started in microspikes and switched to snowshoes at junction between south peak and summit.
Climbed via Glencliff trail - 3/4 of the way had great views for miles into Vermont.
South peak trail had so much snow you had to crawl to get under branches.
Top 0.5 mile exposed - very windy and cold. Comfortable in layers and goggles/facemask. Beautiful 360 views from summit - of Lafayette and all surrounding peaks. Incredibly thick rime ice at summit too.
