Ascent Trip ReportThis is a great peak that is overlooked by nearly everyone. It requires good route-finding skills, as one is usually out of sight of civilization (which is impressive for a 4 mile round-trip hike from a paved road), but there is only a little bit of class 3 scrambling required. The terrain is a little tricky as there is plenty of loose rock and sand, but it's really not bad.
The summit views are spectacular - good views of the Colorado River/Lake Mohave, and mountains in all directions.
