Ascent Trip ReportNo access problems or signage that we saw. Hancock Timber Management lands. Roads nearly to the top. Find a convenient very short connecter located two miles S of where the North Fork Snoqualmie Road crosses Deep Creek and park. This bermed connector is just a shade S of the 1092' junction on the map. After immediately hitting the parallel N<->S Tolt Reservoir Road you'll be heading N and the route from here is fairly obvious. Good hikeable, bikeable and theoretically driveable roads to within 200 horizontal feet of the summit. A few short unmapped spurs at the top will take you to just W of lightly forested 2480+. Or a better road and then a jeep track will take you to the lower clearcut 2440+ top which offers (better) views.
Note that the main road now wraps around the W side of the bump just W of Black Lake before merging back onto the mapped mainline route and that would be the best choice on a bike. The older road as shown between the bump and Black Lake was bermed but perfectly fine as well for walking.
