Time-Period Summary Reports

These reports show number of peaks climbed, highest point reached, and other statistics grouped by year or month.

Climbing mountains is similar to other pursuits in the sense that after the final push there is a hollow feeling that follows. Success can be short lived and that is why I "bag peaks". There will always be mountains on the horizon that I have not climbed and that I desire to climb, which help to kindle the fire that burns within. Having something to focus on and pursue provides motivation and purpose, which is consolidated into a nice package during a climb. The goal is obvious and does not waver; one's success can easily be measured by the quality of the climb and of course the achievement of having gained the summit. So long as there is life in my limbs I will find time to push through the monotony of the business week to enjoy moments of solace in the mountains!

I am constantly refining my approach to climbing and am always amazed at the humbleness, intelligence, and compassion of those that I meet in the more remote sections of this country! Definitely a "Fine Kind of Madness."
