Time-Period Summary Reports

These reports show number of peaks climbed, highest point reached, and other statistics grouped by year or month.

I have always enjoyed being out doors. In 1985 and 1986 I suffered two slipped disks. The Dr's recommendation was that I begin walking on a regular basis. (I set a goal to walk the milage around the world, 24,901.55 miles) As of December 2014 I have covered over 30,500 miles, I have completed the Adirondack 46 (#4353) and the Catskill 3500 (#1805). (NOTE - FLT (Finger Lakes Trail)562 miles completed at 3:17 PM on July 14th 2013, #355)
In 2000 I walked the New York City marathon. (26.2 miles - 6 hours 4 minutes)I continue to walk and hike slowly now working on the branch trails and loop trails of the FLT.
My present goal is to pursue the completion of the NYS fire tower challenge. (19 of 28 completed at the end of 2014)
and I also hope to re-visit some of the peaks in the Adirondacks that offered the greatest satisfaction in previous hiking experiences.
