Born and raised in the foothills of the Adirondacks (Croghan, NY), one would think that hiking the ever-so-popular "Upstate New York" peaks would have been second nature. However, quite the contraty holds true .....

After graduating from Clarkson University (Potsdam, NY) in 2007, my father (Bob Chamberlain) and I decided to take on the Adirondack High Peaks. There was more to our original plan than simply challenging ourselves physically, enjoying the outdoors, and escaping reality; we wanted to ensure that each and every year we could spend quality time with one another and create everlasting memories ... and so far we have done just that!
