Ascent Trip Report

This was my first climb or hike ever. I was very young--my Dad had to carry me part the way up. The day before we hiked up to Lonesome Lake Hut and spent the night there. On August 10 we started up the Hi-Cannon trail, but turned back where it started getting flat. I recall being unhappy at missing the summit--an early warning sign of a future peakbagger.
